MARK CUBAN says, There’s Only One Thing In Life You Can Control: Your Own Effort
Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks, says: “The one requirement for success in our business lives is effort. Either you make the commitment to get results or you don’t. That second point is critical, too. Making more of an effort is not the same thing as working longer. It’s working better–setting goals and getting results.”
I couldn’t agree more with his philosophy, and he has made it work for him. You can make it work for you also, if you want to…..
You may want to read Cuban’s new book and apply the concepts to help you make 2012 a fantastic year. His book is called, How To Win At The Sport Of Business: If I Can Do It, You Can Do It.

Use Accountability to Build and Increase Your Overall Success
Learning how to use accountability to build success for your business is an effective way to build a better business. What exactly is accountability in business? Accountability is taking full responsibility for your actions or non-actions in life and in business. Regardless of the money invested or personal passion for the business, if you don’t hold yourself accountable for the success of your business, there’s only a slim chance you will ever reach the level of success you have in mind.
While there are several components to building a successful business, many entrepreneurs fail to realize that accountability is the driving force behind success or failure. It is essentially a “no-excuses” approach to everything business. Ask any successful business owner and they’ll confirm the only reason things happened was because they understand they were the only person who could make or break the business.
To help you with various types of coaching and accountability, go to http://www.accountabilitycoach.com/coaching/ and implement the one that is best for you. We all always need help in evolving and improving your life and business, and accountability is the only way to help you achieve your goals so you can enjoy what is truly important to you in life.

Respect and Accountability Matter
In Bill Simons’ article called Serena’s Storm (Oct. 2011 issue of Inside Tennis), he wrote, “Serena doesn’t understand the importance of accountability. She just won’t own her actions, let alone reflect on them.” Then he goes on to write, “Will she ever learn? For obviously, no matter who you are – star or bum, millionaire or pauper – respect and accountability matter.”
Even if you aren’t a tennis fan and aren’t familiar with Serena’s notable behavioral outbreaks, Bill is right in that respect and accountability do matter if you want to have the kind of success you truly desire.
Increase Your Focus and Achieve Your Goals by Anne Bachrach — CanDoGo Expert Advice
CanDoGo highlighting one of my videos. Check it out at: http://www.candogo.com/search/insight?i=10508
Living your life without practicing The Power of Focus, is like trying to hit the bull’s eye of a target you can’t see. You can spend hours launching arrows, only to miss the target entirely. You become exhausted and frustrated when your repeated efforts don’t show the results you are trying to achieve. This is what it feels like to operate without The Power of Focus.
To get to where you want to be, you must hold clear in your mind what you most want. Your subconscious mind is a powerful, goal-achieving machine, but it can’t lead you to your desired goal, if you don’t provide it with a specific target. If it doesn’t have a clear and specific target, it can’t get you there.
The Power of Focus is the practice of focusing on the ‘right’ tasks at hand, while minimizing distractions that take your focus away from your goals. It will improve time management, professional and personal performance, task efficiency, overall life balance, and provide your mind the information it needs to get you to the bull’s eye.
A client of mine set a goal she was afraid to set because she had never been successful at achieving it before. We brainstormed a list of what we thought were the ‘right’ activities she needed to do in order to achieve this particular goal. She got focused on these activities, did them, and exceeded her goal! The same thing can happen for you when you focus on the ‘right’ activities.

Watch the video I just posted on youtube on What is an Accountability Coach
In my opinion, it is someone who holds you accountability to achieve your goals – personal and professional so you can enjoy a balanced and successful life.
Someone who tells you the truth no matter what – even when it is hard and is willing to risk the relationship.
Someone who believes in you so much that they lend you their belief when you need more in yourself.
Someone who is there for you and helps accelerate your goal achievement sooner than you thought possible.
Someone who helps you realize your dreams and aspirations.
You can find the answer to this question in much more detail in a FREE booklet on my website (http://www.accountabilitycoach.com) called, What is an Accountability Coach.

Leverage your time and resources effectively
With the goals you have in mind, how can you achieve them if you are not using your time and resources effectively? Take these action steps to heart:
- You must take action now, today!
- Selling doesn’t have to be uncomfortable. Hire the right people to do it for you. And always have an online and offline marketing plan designed by someone (or a firm) that has a proven track record for results.
- You cannot build your business doing $10 or $20 an hour jobs. Delegate easy tasks to an employee or VA (virtual assistant).
- The wealthy don’t get rich by not spending money; however, they do spend it wisely. Pay attention to things that deliver the benefits and results you need to grow your business – and invest in those; pass up the things that are not in line with growing your business. Quit looking at how much it pays – what does it deliver? And does that benefit get you closer to where you want to be?
