Using a Goal Setting Vision Board to Achieve Your Dreams

February 16, 2023 by Anne Bachrach Leave a Comment

What is a Vision Board, you might be wondering?

A vision board can be described as a visualization tool that implies a board of any type utilized to create a collage of words and pictures that depict your goals and dreams.

They can be purchased from a competent supplier or built with cork or cardboard papers. By positioning pictorial representations of your goals into one area, you can effortlessly imagine them often. Look at the day-to-day activities and visualize them as if they have already been achieved is one of the promising ways to turn on the Law of Attraction.

What are the ways you can use a Vision Board for Goal Setting?

The best way to accomplish your goals is to keep them top of mind, so you’re often casting a brief look at ways to move nearer to them, and a vision board is a precise tool to enable you to do that.

By setting a vision board in a place you can see it every day, which will help to encourage yourself to imagine your ideal life on a regular basis. And that’s vital because visualization initiates the efficient abilities of your subconscious mind and directs your brain to observe aids that were constantly there but evaded your notice. Through the Law of Attraction, visualization also attracts and captivates to you the people, help, and chances you need to accomplish your goals.

By putting in a visualization strategy to your daily habit, you will inherently become more motivated to achieve your goals. You’ll begin to see you are consistently doing things that move you closer to your favorable life. Unexpectedly, you discover yourself enlisting to take on only activities that you can do and can’t be done by others, inquiring more directly for what you need, and putting up with more risks in your private and professional life, and therefore encountering more revenue.

How to Develop a Vision Board that Portrays the Future You Wish to Create

Look for pictures that depict or signify the occurrences, feelings, and ownership you want to seduce into your life, and put them on your board. Have fun with the process. Use pictures, journal cut-outs, pictures from the Internet, or anything that motivates you. Be productive. Encompass not just pictures, but whatsoever that communicates to you.

Contemplate containing a picture of yourself on your board. If you do, select one that was taken in a joyous time. You will similarly need to publish your assertions, stirring words, references, and thoughts here. Choose words and images that motivate you and make you feel good.

You can utilize your vision board to portray goals and dreams in all sectors of your life, or in just one particular area that you are focusing on.  Be choosy about what you put on your vision board. It’s a nice idea to prevent developing a jumbled or unsettled board you don’t wish to captivate chaos into your life.

Utilize only the words and pictures that best illustrate your purpose, your perfect future, and words that stimulate positive emotions in you. There is elegance in clearness and translucency. Too many pictures and too much evidence will be diverting and harder to focus on.

If you are acting on picturing and generating changes in several areas of your life, then you may need to use more than one vision board. You might utilize one for your special goals and another for career and financial objectives.

Here’s our Simple 3-Step Method for Making Empowering Vision Boards:

  1. Compile a number of old magazines with elegant pictures

You might not be a magazine reader or presently don’t possess any magazines in your home, so ask your friends to give you any they no longer need. You should also be proficient to pick some up for just a buck or two per magazine at your provincial thrift store. Or you could search your local recycling depot. Some people have a corner where you can pick up all the magazines you could ever want for free.

  1. Search for pictures that depict your goals and motivate you.

When looking for images in the magazines, look for those that instantly compels you to say, Yes. That is what I want in my life! They don’t have to be real objects or literal understandings of what you need in your life. Rather, concentrate on how the images make you feel.

For instance, if you have always desire to move to a house with waterfront property, spend a lot of time if you can’t find a picture of your precise dream home. Maybe, a picture of a unique-looking ocean sunset will be adequate to inspire you.

  1. Make a collage out of your photos

Once you have compiled sufficient photos, it’s time to prepare your vision board. Go to your local craft or dollar store and purchase a large piece of building or poster paper. A corkboard or big wad of paper would help as well. Then bond, tack, or tape your pictures to the sheet or corkboard in a formation that is visually appealing to you.

How to Utilize Your Dream Board

Set your vision board on the nightstand next to your bed or in your home office. You can even have a copy of it as a screen saver on your computer. Take time each morning and evening visualizing, asserting, believing, and feeling how great it will be to have and enjoy what is on your vision board.

Testimonials

I’ve sometimes thought of myself as not coachable – fits & starts on progress – but when I looked at where I’ve come, I can tell it works. This year, I’ve experienced over 50% growth – and with that growth came some confidence… confidence to finally go after what I know I should have done – we’ve added a flat-fee-only option to our offerings, and that’s ALL I’ll be targeting for 2014 and beyond. With that under our belts, I can foresee another 50% growth year for each of the next 2 years!
